Sometimes, you might want to disable an established 2FA connection so you can enable a new one. Perhaps you’ve accidentally deleted the authenticator app, or you’ve lost the device with it on. 

To disable 2FA when you still have access to your original 2FA:

1. Log into your Pepperstone Crypto account and click on the profile icon at the top right corner, then select ‘Security’.

2. Click ‘disable 2FA’ and enter your six-digit authenticator code. 

3. You’re now clear to enable a new 2FA connection, by scanning the QR code as normal.
