Why are you making this change?
We're moving to one consistent way to deposit, so your transfer can be matched and credited to your account faster using your reference number.
Is a reference number now required for AUD bank transfer deposits?
Yes. Every AUD deposit now needs your reference number included in the transfer’s description/reference field. Failure to add it may result in delays.
Where do I find my reference number?
In the App:
1. Open your Wallet
2. Click Deposit.
3. Select Fiat, then select AUD.
4. Select Bank transfer as the deposit method
5. Your reference number and the bank details are shown on the deposit screen.
What happens if I forget to include my reference number?
There may be a delay in your transfer appearing in your available balance. Contact support with your transfer details and we'll sort it out if delays occur.
Does my reference number change every time I deposit?
Yes, reference numbers are unique to each transaction. You will need to copy the new reference number each time you deposit.
Will my deposit be instant?
Not always. Your first deposit under the new method can take up to 24 hours to process, and delays can also happen on your bank's end depending on how they handle the transfer.
Will PayID deposits still work?
Yes. PayID deposits are unaffected.
Will this affect withdrawals?
No, this only changes how you deposit AUD. Withdrawals are unaffected.
When does this change take place?
From Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
