Terms and Conditions
In these Terms:
"Bonus" means an amount of Bitcoin (BTC) that we will deposit into your Pepperstone Crypto account/Pepperstone Crypto Wallet, where the BTC amount is calculated by converting AUD $50 into BTC at the BTC/AUD exchange rate we apply as at 11:59pm AEST on 25 August 2026 (and may be rounded up or down to 8 decimal places as determined by us in our sole discretion);
"Eligible Client" means the clients who meet all of the eligibility criteria under clause 2.1;
"New User" means a person who, at the time of registering for the Offer, has never previously opened or held (and does not currently hold) an account with us;
"Offer" means the Bonus, which is offered to you under these Terms;
"Offer Period" means from 09:00am AEST 25 July 2026 to 11:59pm AEST 25 August 2026;
"Pepperstone" “Pepperstone Crypto”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Pepperstone Digital Pty Ltd (ACN: 683 263 836) (trading as Pepperstone Crypto);
"Qualifying Customer Cap" means the first 800 Eligible Clients during the Offer Period;
"Terms" means these terms and conditions; and
"Terms and Conditions of Service" means the applicable terms and conditions and associated documents that govern your Pepperstone Crypto account with us.
1. The Offer
1.1 You will need to sign up for this Offer via the provided campaign link or by entering the campaign code in accordance with clause 2.1d of these Terms.
1.2 By agreeing to the Offer you acknowledge and confirm that you have read, understand and agree to these Terms.
1.3 This Offer is only available to the first 800 Eligible Clients who sign up for this Offer during the Offer Period, up to the Qualifying Customer Cap. Once the Qualifying Customer Cap has been reached this Offer will no longer be available. For the avoidance of doubt meeting the eligibility criteria in clause 2.1 does not guarantee the Bonus once the Qualifying Customer Cap is reached.
1.4 This Offer can only be claimed once per Eligible Client.
1.5 Subject to the Qualifying Customer Cap, Eligible Clients will automatically receive the Bonus, in a single payment, at a time reasonably determined by us after the Offer Period.
2. Your Eligibility
2.1 To become an Eligible Client for the Bonus, you must:
- Be a New User;
- Be an Australian resident over the age of 18 years;
- Be a natural person entering this Offer in your personal capacity (this Offer is not available to companies, trusts, partnerships or other non-natural-person entities);
- Create a new Pepperstone Crypto user account by signing up via link or by entering CMP-BTC on the sign-up page;
- Successfully complete our customer account verification process;
- Deposit AUD $100 in a single transaction into your Pepperstone Crypto account during the Offer Period and maintain an account balance of at least AUD $100 continuously from the date of that deposit until 11:59pm AEST on 25 August 2026 (if your account balance falls below AUD $100 at any point during that period, you will not be treated as an Eligible Client for the purposes of this Offer); and
- You must comply with these Terms.
2.2 Introducing Brokers, partners and employees will NOT be eligible to participate in this Offer.
2.3 Employees, contractors, agents, affiliates and related entities of Pepperstone (or a related body corporates) will NOT be eligible to participate in this Offer.
2.4 We may verify your eligibility to participate in this Offer at any time, including by requesting further information or documentation from you, and may suspend or delay assessment or payment of the Bonus pending successful completion of that verification.
General
3.1 You must participate in this Offer in good faith. We reserve the right, at any time and in our sole discretion, to withhold or to withdraw the Bonus, exclude you from the Offer and/or suspend or permanently terminate trading account access for you, if you:
- breach any of these Terms or our Terms and Conditions of Service;
- engage in any actual or suspected abuse of this Offer; or
- we have reason to suspect that you have acted fraudulently or obtained an unfair or unintended advantage under this Offer.
3.2 Without limiting clause 3.1, if we determine (whether before or after the Bonus has been paid) that you were not an Eligible Client, breached these Terms, or obtained the Bonus through fraud or abuse of this Offer, we may withhold, reverse or reclaim the Bonus, including by debiting an equivalent value from your Pepperstone Crypto account or otherwise recovering that value from you.
3.3 The Offer can’t be transferred to another person, another person’s trading account or exchanged for other goods and services.
3.4 This Offer can’t be used in conjunction with any other Pepperstone promotion.
3.5 Our records and calculations in connection with this Offer, including our determination of Eligible Clients, the Qualifying Customer Cap, and the BTC/AUD exchange rate applied to calculate the Bonus, are final and binding, in the absence of manifest error.
3.6 You acknowledge and agree that this Offer isn’t an inducement to trade and we won’t be liable for trading losses incurred by you as a result of your trading or in relation to this Offer.
3.7 You acknowledge and agree that the opening of a Pepperstone trading account is subject to the relevant anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing “Know Your Customer” checks under applicable anti-money laundering laws.
3.8 You acknowledge and agree that your participation in this Offer doesn’t make you our agent or representative of Pepperstone.
3.9 This Offer isn’t open to residents of any jurisdiction where participating in this Offer would be contrary to local laws and regulations.
3.10 You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your country of residence that may apply to: (a) your participation in this Offer; and/or (b) your operation of a Pepperstone Crypto account.
3.11 This Offer relates to Bitcoin, a highly volatile digital asset, and does not constitute financial advice. We do not guarantee any value, return or outcome in connection with the Bonus. Please refer to our Risk Disclosure Statement for more information.
3.12 Receipt of the Bonus may have tax consequences for you, including potential capital gains tax implications, and you are responsible for determining and meeting any tax obligations arising from your receipt of the Bonus.
3.13 We take our privacy obligations seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of Service for more information about how we handle your personal information.
3.14 Pepperstone may reasonably withdraw or amend these Terms and/or the Offer where required by applicable law(s)/regulation(s) or at its discretion, subject to regulatory obligations.
3.15 Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or restricts any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
3.16 These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
