Accepted ID documents

If you have Australian-issued identity document

You can use one of the following:

• Australian Passport + Selfie Photo
• Australian Driver’s License + Selfie Photo
   

If you are a foreign national living in Australia

If you do not have an Australian passport or Australian driver’s licence, you may use:

• A valid Foreign Passport + Selfie Photo

To be eligible, you must be an Australian resident and a foreign passport must be accompanied by a relevant, valid visa with more than three months remaining before expiry at the time of submission. 
 

Document requirements

To pass verification, your identity document must:

• Be valid and not expired
• Clearly show your full name, date of birth, and photograph
• Clearly display your passport number (if submitting a passport)
• Be a clear, readable image of the original document
• Not be cropped, edited, or altered
• Photocopies, screenshots, or edited images will not be accepted.

• Screenshots in PDF format are not accepted
